Restorative Treatment

Restorative treatment seeks to restore the functionality and aesthetics of affected or lost teeth and thus improve the quality of life of our patients. It includes treatments such as fillings, inlays and prostheses.

Aesthetic crown

Fixed prostheses are used to replace one or more teeth. Unlike removable prostheses, this type of prosthesis is fixed to the teeth that are used as pillars to hold the tooth that has been lost. They are very comfortable for the patient and can be made of metal on the inside and porcelain on the visible part of the tooth. They are completely aesthetic.

Inlay and Filling

This treatment is performed when cavities affect several surfaces of the tooth. The materials used are resin and porcelain.

Prosthesis

They are used to replace one or more lost or damaged teeth, with the aim of restoring the patient's masticatory and aesthetic function. There are two types: fixed and removable.

Fixed prosthesis

They are placed permanently in the patient's mouth, thus replacing one or more lost teeth and providing greater comfort.
They can be made of:

  • Metal.
  • Metal-Porcelain.
  • Porcelain.

Removable prosthesis

Unlike fixed prostheses, this treatment is based on a device that the patient must remove from the mouth at night and put on during the day. It also improves chewing, aesthetics and speech.

Total prosthesis

This is also a removable treatment. Unlike other prostheses, these are performed when the patient has lost all of his or her upper and lower teeth.
