There are two types of Periodontal disease, Gingivitis and Periodontitis.<\/p><p><strong>Gingivitis:<\/strong><br \/>It is summarized as inflammation of the soft tissues of the mouth (gums) caused by the accumulation of plaque and tartar; the patient may experience general bleeding, color change and bad breath.<\/p><p><strong>Periodontitis:<\/strong><br \/>Advanced periodontal disease, which is associated with bone loss.
