Pediatric Dentistry

Consultation

Pediatric Dentistry is the specialty in the dental management of children from the age of zero. Through behavioral management and prevention, we aim to make the child's first dental appointment a pleasant experience. Our specialists perform comprehensive dental treatments that can be preventive, restorative, aesthetic, correction of inappropriate habits, etc.

Extractions

Tooth extraction or exodontia is indicated when there is an extensive caries lesion in a tooth or severe infection and it is no longer possible to restore it.

Crowns (Helmets)

Restorative treatment performed on teeth that have lost their anatomy and tissue due to extensive decay. Crowns can be made of two types of materials: stainless steel and zirconium (aesthetic) and allow the restoration of functionality and, above all, oral health.

Pulpotomies-Pulpectomies (nerve treatments)

Treatment performed when tooth decay is very advanced and has affected the pulp tissue (internal nerve of the tooth). This treatment consists of the partial or total removal of the pulp tissue.

Cleaning and
Application of fluoride

It consists of the complete removal of bacterial plaque from the teeth, which causes gum inflammation and tooth decay.

In children, fluoride varnish or gel applications serve to prevent small caries lesions without cavities, ensuring good oral health during their childhood.

Pit and fissure sealants

Sealants cover fissures that are susceptible to tooth decay. Sealant restorations are also indicated for initial caries lesions.

Fillings

It is a procedure that restores a tooth affected by decay, removing the damaged tissue and filling it with a material that is similar in color to the tooth.
